Miramar is a city of pleasant living. It is perfect for families, quiet atmosphere and close to the main areas of Fort Lauderdale and Miami. As it has been for ages, it’s still home to the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami Hurricanes football program. Miramar has 11 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, 2 high schools, various charter schools and a special needs school. There are 22 neighborhood parks, 1 regional park.
